Another podcast

I want to do the Mass, but I don't know if I have the energy. The editing process is a pain in the ass, and I still have to edit the Xiu Xiu podcast.
I am pushing to get Oaklandish (which is closing Saturday!!) in the metro section. It feels good to fight for this. It's about an organization that's trying to benefit the community, get kids off the streets and involved in arts and human rights and activism. It's an organization that's promoting Oakland history and giving this city a better rap. And it's being shut down for code technicalities. And the city is not trying to help them out at all. The Oakland Box, another multi-ethnic, community-based culture center got shut down for much the same reasons. And we never wrote about that either. I keep saying, "This is important." I might end up killing my Clubland for it, but it's worth it.
