I drooled on Jake Gyllenhaal, literally
Sep. 18th, 2005 11:36 amJake was like directly below me just five minutes ago, one story. I could have spit on him. He is rather gorgeous in person. I watched him do jumping jacks before they filmed the shot. Some custodians and I were gawking in the corner office.
They're filming this David Fincher movie, "Chronicles" or "Zodiac" about the zodiac killer outside. They have all sorts of old cars, old cabs, an old bus and they've repainted the Chronicle trucks. They're driving old cars in circles between Fifth and Sixth on Mission. They have to let the electric buses through because, well, they're electric buses and they can't go another route. They took down a bus stop. Apparently the Chronicle figures big in the story. But they're only using the outside of the building, and doing the inside shots on sound stages in LA.
Below me was also Robert Downey Jr. Apparently just before I got here, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Edwards in a wig were bursting into the lobby over and over again. Sonia is upset she missed Ruffalo. She's been carrying on about it. I told her to take a walk outside, but she says, "I'm not that lame."
Today is a good day, because, in addition to Jake:
1. It's MY LAST SUNDAY.
2. I bought two Arcade Fire tickets for Chanelle and me this morning from a scalper. I hate support scalpers, but it's THE ARCADE FIRE. Balcony, second row.
Maybe Jake Gyllenhaal will come to Arcade Fire tonight!
Bad pictures soon.
