I want to volunteer when I'm in Texas

firebreath613Anyone have any suggestions as to how I may do that? I'm calling the Red Crosses in San Antonio, Houston and Austin. Dallas, too. I'll have a car.
Opportunities here:
The Oakland Red Cross wants volunteers to answer the phone and take donations. They have a national phone bank in Oakland. They are offering training sessions at 10am, 2pm and 6pm every day, then they'll put you right on the phones. Call 510-595-4472 to get in one of those sessions.
So that's what I'm doing this weekend.
